Our health visitor is a fully qualified nurse with special training in family health. She offers advice, a home visiting service and holds a weekly health club for children under five. She also offers antenatal and postnatal support for parents.

A key part of her role in the primary health care team is in providing our developmental screening service for children. Health education for all age groups is also an important aspect of her work. This can range from individual counselling on aspects of healthy living, to organising group activities and exhibitions.
