We employ five part-time practice nurses, a phlebotomist and two health care assistants.. Also working in the surgery are health visitors and a midwife who are employed by Somerset Partnership.

Our practice nurses are available by appointment for advice about any health matters, immunisations, family planning, dressings and ear syringing. They carry out blood pressure checks, ECGs, cervical smears, and health checks for the elderly, newly registered patients and patients with asthma, COPD, diabetes or high blood pressure.

Please note that blood tests ordered by your doctor are carried out by our phlebotomist in a separate clinic, not by practice nurses, so please specify your requirement when booking an appointment
