We are able to arrange most vaccinations required for foreign travel. Please consult the practice sufficiently early.
We need at least six weeks prior to departure so we can carry out the mandatory checks required, allow an appropriate interval between vaccinations if needed, and ensure that you are offered appropriate advice.
Please note that, although most travel vaccinations are available from the surgery at no cost, some drugs such as for malaria prophylaxis have to be purchased by the patient from a pharmacist (some on a private prescription).
Travellers who require Hepatitis B vaccine (which is a course of 3 vaccinations) will incur a charge of approximately £30 for each vaccination which is to be paid at the time of each appointment.
Please ask reception for the current charge when you book your visit.
Our practice nurses will give advice where required.
We regret that we cannot offer travel vaccinations to temporary residents or overseas visitors.
1) Phone and make a 30 minute travel appointment with the nurse.
2) Please complete a travel questionaire and bring it with to your travel appointment. Travel questionaires are available at the reception, or to save time you may download and print a copy from the link below:
